Solan: The Yogananda Knowledge Centre (YKC) of Shoolini University organised a two-day EBSCO Orientation Programme under the guidance and leadership of the Director, Yogananda Library, along with the YKC Team.
The primary aim of the programme was to familiarise students with the EBSCO Database, one of the world’s leading digital platforms for accessing academic and research materials. The sessions were conducted by Mr Ritesh from EBSCO and received an enthusiastic response from students across various programmes of the University.

More than 850 students actively participated in the sessions, which were interactive and practical in nature. The programme included live demonstrations, hands-on training, and engaging quiz competitions. Prizes were awarded to the quiz winners, further motivating students to participate actively and enhance their learning experience.
The orientation sessions proved to be both informative and beneficial, enabling students to utilise digital library resources more effectively for their academic and research pursuits.
The event was coordinated by the Yogananda Knowledge Centre Team, whose efforts were highly appreciated for ensuring the smooth and successful execution of the programme. Their dedication and teamwork played a vital role in strengthening the research and learning culture at Shoolini University.
