Shimla: In a chilling incident, the Teesa-Bairgarh road, near Terai bridge, witnessed a deadly accident in Chamba. The accident resulted in losing seven lives, including six police personnel who died on the spot. A total of 11 people were traveling in the vehicle. Nine policemen were in it, and six policemen died on the spot. While four are badly injured.
Apart from this, driver have also died after a giant rock tumbled down a hill and hit the driver of the Bolero Camper in the Chamba District of Himachal. All these police personnel were posted in the 2nd IRBN Bairagarh. The accident happened between 9 am and 9:30 am. According to preliminary information, the vehicle rolled directly into the river.
The deceased police personnel has been identified as SI Rakesh Gaur, Head Constable Praveen Tandon, Constables Kamaljeet, Sachin, and Abhishek. At the same time, the driver has been identified as 39-year-old Chandu Ram.
