Solan: Shoolini University concluded its five-day Indoor Sports Championship 2026, with students showcasing their talent and sporting spirit in Badminton and Table Tennis competitions.
The championship saw enthusiastic participation from students in singles, doubles and mixed doubles categories. The participants displayed strong competitive spirit, teamwork and determination throughout the tournament.
In Badminton, Aryan and Anushka won the Mixed Doubles title, while Akshay and Anshika were the runners-up. Srijal and Divyanshi emerged winners in the Women’s Doubles category, with Anshika and Raashi finishing as runners-up. Srijal also won the Women’s Singles title, while Divyanshi secured the runners-up position.

In the Men’s Singles category, Kunal emerged as the winner and Rohnit finished as runner-up. Rahul and Prashant won the Men’s Doubles title, while Aryan and Anuraag were the runners-up.
In Table Tennis, Prashant and Rizul won the Men’s Doubles title, with Arnav and Devesh finishing as runners-up. Prashant also secured the Men’s Singles title, while Rizul was the runner-up. In the Girls’ Singles category, Anvita emerged as the winner and Bhumika finished second. Rizul and Anvita won the Mixed Doubles title in Table Tennis, while Milan and Anushka were the runners-up.
The championship concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, where Prof. P. K. Khosla, Chancellor, Shoolini University, felicitated the winners and runners-up. He congratulated the students for their performance and appreciated their dedication, discipline and sporting spirit. He also encouraged students to maintain a balance between academic pursuits and participation in sports and fitness activities.
The event was organised by Mr. Vikrant Chauhan, Assistant Director, Sports, under the guidance of Prof Neeraj Gandotra, Associate Dean, Student Welfare.
