Kasauli School Students Bag Second Spot in National Wildlife Quiz, Win Trip to National Park

Solan: Two students from Kasauli International Public School have brought laurels to Himachal Pradesh by securing the second position in a national wildlife quiz. Gitansh Gulati of Class IX and Daksh Giloria of Class VIII achieved this feat in the World Wild Wisdom Global Challenge.

Representing the North Zone, the duo competed in the national online finals held on November 18. They faced tough competition from teams representing Assam, Gujarat, Kerala, and Chhattisgarh to secure the runner-up spot.

Before reaching the nationals, the team dominated the zonal level. They outperformed contestants from Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, and Jammu and Kashmir to claim the top rank for Himachal Pradesh.

In recognition of their performance, the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) awarded both students gift vouchers worth Rs. 12,000 from TI Cycles. They have also won a sponsored educational trip to a National Park.

School Managing Director Hira Thakur, Principal Dr. Rajiv Guleria, and Vice Principal Poonam Thakur congratulated the students on their remarkable achievement and wished them well for the future.
