Solan: Lt Gen Puneet Ahuja, AVSM, SM, VSM, Chief of Staff, HQ Western Command, visited The Lawrence School, Sanawar and interacted with students and faculty during his visit to the prestigious institution.
The General Officer, who is also a Member of the Governing Body of the School, toured the campus and visited various school facilities. He also interacted with the students of the NCC wing, appreciating their enthusiasm, discipline, and commitment.
A special Assembly was organised in the iconic School Chapel, where Lt Gen Ahuja addressed the students and encouraged them to identify their true calling in life and pursue it with determination, discipline, and perseverance. Emphasising the values of leadership, integrity, and service to the nation, he motivated the students to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly towards achieving excellence in their chosen fields.
Ms. Ruchi Pradhan Datta, Headmaster of the School, felicitated Lt Gen Ahuja with a token of appreciation. Proposing the vote of thanks, she remarked, “The visit of the General Officer will go a long way in instilling a strong sense of patriotism and love for the uniform among our students, motivating them to join the Armed Forces and serve the nation with pride and dedication.”
