Solan: In a remarkable display of resilience and intellectual prowess, The Lawrence School, Sanawar, organized Stream Synergy 2025—an inter-disciplinary conclave encompassing Science, Technology, Reading, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STREAM). The event brought together approximately 50 bright young minds from six esteemed schools across the region, fostering collaboration and innovation in the face of ongoing Indo-Pak tensions.
The conclave comprised of host of events namely Logi-Quest: A Battle of Minds, The Math Debate, Web Designing, Robotics- Bot challenge and the Science Quiz. In Logi-Quest contest that assessed participants’ logical and analytical abilities, Sanawar Team B comprised of Saanvi and Akshat Parashar, won the first position while Pinegrove School, Dharampur were placed at 2nd and position respectively. The winner of the Math debate was also The Lawrence School, Sanawar.

In yet another interesting and mind challenging event related to Web Designing focused on the use of AI to improve health initiatives. While the host school, The Lawrence School, Sanawar walked away with the first prize, 2nd and third prize went to Pinegrove School, Subathu and Pinegrove School, Dharampur respectively. In the robotics segment, participants showcased their engineering skills and applied knowledge of Artificial Intelligence through the Grabber Bot challenge. The Lawrence School, Sanawar secured first position and 2nd and 3rd position went to Pinegrove School, Subathu and Pinegrove School, Dharampur respectively.
The keenly contested Science Quiz tested participants’ knowledge across various scientific domains. In the nail biting finish, The Lawrence School, Sanawar emerged the winner while Pinegrove School, Dharampur and Durga Public School, Solan had to be content with 2nd and 3rd position respectively. All the five events were graced by a distinguished panel of five judges. While four of them namely Dr. Tiratha Raj Singh, Dr. Vikas Baghel, Dr. Bhupendra Kumar Pathak, and Dr. Saurav Srivastava, were from J.P. University of Information and Technology, Shimla; the fifth judge was Vashima Mansukhani, a Delhi University scholar and an accomplished Data Science Expert.
The closing ceremony was honored by the presence of Ms. Mehar Panwar, IPS, DSP Parwanoo, who graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Her address emphasized the importance of knowledge and wisdom in overcoming challenges and building a resilient society.
Proposing a vote of thanks, Himmat Singh Dhillon, Headmaster of The Lawrence School, Sanawar said, “Stream Synergy-2025” stands as a testament to the fact that The Lawrence School, Sanawar has moved up the ladder of pedagogy from STEM to STREAM and the curriculum among other subjects includes not only Mathematics but also Mindfulness, not only engineering but also environmentalism.”
