Solan: The Faculty of Legal Science, Shoolini University, organised an workshop on ‘Practical Insights on Taxation Laws today’, aimed at enriching the knowledge of law students and providing a platform for budding legal professionals to engage with real-world legal practices.
The session was delivered by Abhimanyu Jhamba, Advocate, Supreme Court of India, New Delhi. With extensive experience in taxation matters, he shared valuable perspectives on the critical aspects of taxation laws, with a special focus on Income Tax.

During the session, Adv. Jhamba discussed recent legal developments and the practical application of taxation laws in both litigation and advisory practice. He also elaborated on the fundamental legal questions that commonly arise in taxation cases before the Supreme Court and various High Courts, offering valuable guidance on how these issues are analysed and argued in real judicial settings.
The workshop was interactive, allowing students to ask questions and participate in discussions that successfully bridged academic learning with courtroom strategy.
