Himachal Pradesh PSC Chairman Praises Gurukul School for Holistic Student Development

Solan: Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) Chairman, Rameshwar Thakur, highlighted Gurukul International Senior Secondary School’s efforts in promoting all-round student development. He spoke at the school’s annual cultural and sports function held in Solan on Thursday.

Thakur praised the school for enhancing students’ skills and encouraging holistic growth. He noted that earlier, students lacked such facilities and opportunities. However, he emphasized that with hard work and dedication, children could achieve great success. Thakur also urged parents to support their children in building bright futures.

He stressed the importance of balancing academics with sports and extracurricular activities, stating that these contribute to complete personality development. He expressed confidence that students from the school would become valuable members of society.

During the event, Principal Dr. Lakhwinder Arora presented the annual report, detailing the school’s achievements. She shared that students had excelled in education, sports, and co-curricular activities, bringing pride to Solan and the state. She emphasized the school’s motto, “Modernity with Values,” aimed at nurturing children with ethical education alongside modern learning.

Chief guest Rameshwar Thakur, along with special guest ADC Solan Ajay Kumar Yadav, honored top-performing students in academics, sports, and other activities with certificates and mementos. The event featured vibrant cultural performances by students, earning applause from the audience.

Prominent school management members, including Dinesh Garg, Sunil Garg, Piyush Garg, and Sameer Garg, also attended the occasion, making it a memorable celebration.
