Solan: To boost road safety awareness among students, Jainagar College’s Road Safety Club hosted a Slogan Writing Competition on November 22, 2024. The event encouraged students to think creatively while promoting responsible driving habits.
Participants had one hour to create slogans under the theme, “Road Safety – Your Responsibility.” Judges assessed the entries for originality, creativity, and alignment with the theme. According to the club’s convenor, Prof. Pragati Kashyap, the event succeeded in enhancing students’ understanding of road safety while inspiring accountability in driving.
The enthusiastic participation showcased the significance of such programs in nurturing social responsibility among young people. The winners were Poonam Devi, securing first place, followed by Isha Devi in second and Diksha Kumari in third.
