Solan: Kasauli International Public School in Sanwara marked the joyous occasion of Shivaratri on Saturday, March 09, 2024, with an extravagant celebration.
The event commenced with a speech by Atharva Sharma, a ninth-grade student, who eloquently emphasized the significance of Shivaratri. Following the insightful speech, the school’s students showcased their talents with a mesmerizing dance dedicated to Shiva-Parvati.
Ritually, the students then collectively performed Rudrabhishek, followed by a Vedic-style havan involving the entire school community. The program reached its conclusion with a soulful bhajan-kirtan session and the distribution of prasad, led by both students and teachers of KIPS.
Notable figures of the school, including Managing Director Mr. Hira Thakur, Principal Mr. Rajendra Prasad, and Vice Principal Mrs. Poonam Thakur, took a moment to impart the splendor of Shiva and Shivaratri to the students, paying homage to the deities on this auspicious occasion.
