Solan: Three students from Kasauli International Public School (KIPS) played a pivotal role in leading their team, JP Paltan, to victory at the Baghat Premier League (BPL) Season-2 Kabaddi Tournament. The three-day event concluded on Wednesday.
The trio of Amrik, Lavneesh, and Anish demonstrated exceptional skill throughout the tournament. Despite an initial loss to Pitambar in their opening match, JP Paltan staged a strong comeback. The team defeated Kasauli Bulls by 20 points and followed up with a confident 10-point win over Alfawalks. They continued their momentum in the semi-finals, securing a dominant 22-point victory against DC Panther to book a spot in the championship match.

The final against Vinom Viper was an intensely competitive affair. A remarkable surge by Amrik Chaudhary in the concluding 15 minutes proved decisive, securing a narrow 3-point victory for JP Paltan. The champion team was awarded a cash prize of ₹2,00,000, with all players receiving silver coins.
Chaudhary earned special distinction for his individual performance, winning the title of “Amazing Player of the Tournament.” He was awarded a digital watch worth approximately ₹10,000, a cash prize of ₹3,100, and a silver coin.
