Palampur: Himachal Pradesh Governor Bandaru Dattatraya today arrived at Palampur during his three days visit to Kangra district. This is his first visit to Kangra district as Governor.
During his visit today he visited the Vivekananda Medical Institute at Holta. Former Union Minister and Chairman of the Trust Shanta Kumar welcomed the Governor.
The Governor was apprised of the activities of Naturopathy such as Nirmay Center of Trust, Physiotherapy Section, Combination Therapy, Continuous Passive Motion (CPM), etc. being undertaken by the trust. He also visited the Sadhana complex and Old Age home being built under the name Vishranti. Shanta Kumar gave the detailed information of the institute to the Governor.
He appreciated the Management of the Trust for providing various facilities to the people and health projects being run by the Institute. He said that naturopathy was the need of the hour and needs to be promoted.
