Solan: Pinegrove School has once again proven its dominance in shooting sports. The school delivered a stellar performance at the 10th Solan District Shooting Championship, held from May 23 to 25, 2025. The event was organized by the Solan District Rifle Association and Shri Balaji Gun Fire Shooting Academy. A total of 56 shooters represented both Pinegrove Dharampur and Subathu campuses. Pinegrove School was crowned ‘Overall Champion’ after bagging an impressive 47 medals. This tally included 20 gold, 16 silver, and 11 bronze medals.
Notably, Pinegrove made a clean sweep in four major categories, Air Rifle Women Senior, Air Rifle Women Junior, Air Rifle Women Youth and Air Pistol Women Youth. This outstanding performance showcased the school’s strong training and team spirit. One standout performer was Rajvansh Singh Chauhan, a Class XII Commerce student. He created history by scoring 592 out of 600, the highest score ever recorded in the district.
In the Air Rifle Men ISSF, Junior Men ISSF, and Youth Men categories, Pinegrove secured three gold medals. Pinegrove’s remarkable effort has not only earned medals but also set a new standard for upcoming shooting events. The school’s shooters have made this championship a memorable one and continue to inspire with their dedication and skill.
