Solan: The Yogananda School of AI, Computers, and Data Science (YSAICDS) at Shoolini University organised a week-long Interdepartmental Hackathon that brought together bright young innovators from across departments. The open-domain innovation challenge featured three competitive rounds designed to encourage creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration among students.

A total of 18 teams participated in the event, presenting unique and practical ideas that addressed real-world challenges through Artificial Intelligence (AI) and technology. Cash prizes worth ₹25,000 were awarded to the winning teams to help them develop their Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) and invest further in AI-based solutions. The top innovative ideas included Beep, AI Therapist, ShooliniBOT, Unicart, and 2D–3D, which stood out for their originality and application potential.
Prof. Ashish Khosla, President Innovation and Marketing Shoolini University, appreciated the students for their creativity and forward-thinking approach, while Prof. Pankaj Vaidya, Head of School, announced that more such hackathons would be organised in the future to inspire AI-driven innovation and startup culture at Shoolini University. Special thanks were extended to jury members Prof. Ashish Khosla and Mr. Devender Thakur for their insightful guidance during the evaluation process.
