Solan: Shoolini University is set to host the first Convocation of the Centre for Distance and Online Education (SCDOE) on Saturday, 29 November 2025, at the campus.
The degrees will be awarded by Padma Shri Dr. R.C. Sobti, one of India’s most respected academic leaders. Dr. Sobti will join the event as the Chief Guest. Earlier, he served as the Vice Chancellor of Panjab University and the Vice Chancellor of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar University, Lucknow.

This convocation will honour 68 graduates from the inaugural SCDOE batch. The graduating group will include 65 students from the MBA programme and three students from MA English. The academic achievements of the batch will be highlighted, including one Gold Medallist from the MBA programme and one Certificate of Honour recipient from MA English. The inaugural batch is known for its distinguished learner profile, which includes CEOs, IAS officers, senior corporate executives, and mid-career professionals who have chosen Shoolini University’s flexible ODL/OL platform to pursue higher education.

The First Convocation of SCDOE will mark a significant milestone for Shoolini University. It will celebrate the achievements of its first cohort of online and distance learners, acknowledging their resilience, dedication, and pursuit of academic excellence. Many students will be recognised for successfully balancing their professional responsibilities with their studies, demonstrating determination and leadership.
