Solan: The Investiture and Oath-Taking Ceremony was held at Kasauli International Public School, Sanwara, on Monday, May 26, 2025. The school campus buzzed with energy as newly appointed student leaders proudly accepted their roles.
Jatin Thakur of Class XII was named Head Boy, while Amishi Kakkar became Head Girl. Among sports leadership roles, Amrik Chaudhary from Class XI was chosen as Sports Captain for boys, and Tanvi Thakur of Class X for girls. Ojous Chauhan took over as Mess Captain, and Tishtha was appointed Vice Mess Captain.
House leaders were also announced. For Venus House, Jugraj Singh of Class XII became Captain, and Vansh Yadav, Vice-Captain. From Neptune House, Lovely of Class XII and Gitesh took on the leadership roles. In Mars House, Yudhveer and Girish were selected. Earth House was led by Ojous Chauhan, with Balvinder as Vice-Captain.
Dormitory roles saw younger students stepping up. Divyanshu Shukla of Class VII and Saurabh of Class VI were chosen for Dormitory 1. Shivam Kaushal and Puranjay Garg led Dormitory 2. Vidit Kakkar and Devansh Mann were placed in charge of Dormitory 3. Dormitory 4 was led by Bhuvan Pratap and Suraj. Jugraj Singh and Vansh Yadav also took on responsibility for Dormitory 5.
For the girls’ dormitories, Tanvi Thakur was named Captain of the Junior Girls’ Dorm, with Priyanshi Arora as Vice-Captain. Amishi took charge of the Senior Girls’ Dormitory, assisted by Tishta as Vice-Captain.
Each class, from I to XII, also saw the selection of a Monitor and Vice-Monitor. All student leaders were honoured with sashes and badges during the ceremony.
The event concluded with addresses from Managing Director Mr. Hira Thakur, Principal Mr. Rajiv Guleria, and Vice Principal Mrs. Poonam Thakur. They shared words of guidance and encouraged students to lead with responsibility and pride.
