Solan: The Lawrence School, Sanawar, held a series of events for Vigilance Awareness Week, focusing on the importance of integrity and transparency. The school hosted an interactive session for staff and students led by a team from United India Insurance Company Ltd.
During the session, Mr. Devang Vora, the company’s Vigilance Officer, spoke about the need for a collective responsibility to eradicate corruption. He encouraged everyone to promptly report any related complaints through the official Vigilance Portal to ensure accountability.
As part of the observance, all staff and students at the school took a formal Integrity Pledge, committing to uphold honesty and contribute to building a corruption-free society.
Mr. Himmat Singh Dhillon, the school’s Headmaster, said the week’s events reinforce the institution’s core principles. “At Sanawar, we believe that ethical conduct and integrity are not just values to be spoken about, but principles to be lived every day,” he said. “This week reminds us of our duty to be transparent, accountable, and truthful in all our actions.”
The visiting team, which also included Deputy General Manager Mr. Subodh Sharma and Regional Manager Mr. Ashok Negi, was welcomed by the school’s department heads.
